We were again fortunate enough to receive updated pictures last week and then a follow up today with a written update/progress report. He still dislikes baths : ( but oh so many other fun things going on!!! So glad to read that he is thriving in his foster home. It seems he really enjoys being there as the last few pics (including this months) have show him with his Foster Mother and they are both so happy. As well to have so many things marked off developmentally means so much to us that his foster family is providing a nurturing environment.
In this months pics he's sporting a few things we've sent previously including a red windbreaker, maroon sweatshirt, and yellow vest. I surely think he's warm enough! It's also sweet to see him playing with the plastic pop beads that were in his care package. I really hoped he'd enjoy these as they were shaped as cars and trains.

Care Package #15
Pulled together another nice package to send over to our little guy. Would much prefer to be packing my suitcases and taking myself over there but seems the old care package will have to do for the time being. Once I had all our stuff ready, it seemed I had a bit more room than expected so was able to stuff in blow up baseball and some yogurt bites! Also finally included a recordable picture album that was given to us by a friend. We went around the house with Benjamin's picture and took snap shots to show him his new house. I share a sampling of the album below.
- 2 long sleeve shirts
- Pair of jeans
- Blow up baseball
- 2 wooden toy cars
- Wooden puzzle
- Recordable picture album
- Have You Seen My Duckling book (Korean)
- Fruit strips
- Yogurt bites
- Chocolate cookies (for foster mother and father)
- Candy chews (for big brother)
- Dish towel (for foster mother)
- Scrubber with duck handle (for foster mother)
